You may be eligible for newly awarded, federal grant money to use for wildfire mitigation around your home ignition zone.
This grant was awarded to the Bridger Canyon and Gallatin Canyon area on behalf of Gallatin County, because of their inherent fire risk, and could cover up to 60% of the cost.

About the program
*Wildfire risk is present throughout Gallatin County with the severity and risks varying based on location. Through the process of developing the 2022 Gallatin County Hazard Mitigation and Community Wildfire Protection Plan 1,000,107 acres have been identified as Wildland Urban Interface in the County.
Gallatin County started a wildfire mitigation program in the us second half of 2022 to assist residents in Gallatin County conduct wildfire mitigation work on their property. The program is currently designed to provide support to land owners in identifying actions they can take to help mitigate wildfire risk on their property.

Schedule your free assessment with the Gallatin county rep, Jay Pape, by calling
406-548-0118 or online here. What to expect during an assessment.
Step 3.
After you’ve had your assessment completed by the county, apply to receive funding at their online form here.
Step 4.
Once you receive your notice of grant approval, use the form below to schedule a free appointment with us. We will review the assessment information provided to you by the county, and provide you a quote for services.
